Utility bills are complicated. To calculate your bill, utility companies have to follow hundreds of pages of tariffs and rates. Even though these rates are typically regulated by the local Public Service Commission, implementation errors are common. If you choose to service from a third party supplier, the chances for error increase even further. The rates charged by these suppliers are not reviewed by any regulatory agency. As a result, supplier invoices in deregulated markets often contain more and larger errors than utility invoices.
Once our proprietary process reveals a billing error, NuEnergen immediately resolves the issue on your behalf. We also work to prevent future errors by proactively communicating with utilities and suppliers to resolve common issues.

Data Gathering: The initial step of the process includes gathering the bills for all accounts to be audited. Where some companies require you to gather 12, 24, or even 36 months of bills, NuEnergen only needs one bill for each account. We will then work with the utility provider to obtain a thorough bill history.
Audit: NuEnergen’s auditors review and input all bills received and compare the current pricing structure against our proprietary billing engines to determine what the bills should be. All charges are also reviewed for metering errors, overcharges and duplicate charges.
Implementation: After savings are identified in the audit, NuEnergen goes to work on your behalf to reclaim overcharges and adjust billing rates going forward.
