Kevin Hamilton
President & CEO
Kevin is a founder of NuEnergen. Kevin has over 25 years experience in the energy conservation and supply businesses, during which he has held business development and sales leadership roles. Starting in the energy performance contracting business with Honeywell Corporation, Kevin developed energy asset management programs with institutional clients throughout New England. Following Honeywell, Kevin became the Northeast and later North American Vice President of Sales, Institutional Markets, for the deregulated arm of Duke Energy, Duke Solutions. In this capacity, Kevin led a team of individuals who developed integrated energy asset management solutions for the marketplace. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, and a MBA in International Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Babson College, Wellesley, MA.

Brett Wu
Senior Vice President, Client Services
Brett serves as NuEnergen’s Vice President, Client Services. With a tenure at the firm dating back to 2011, Brett has served in both the company’s Client Services and Operations group. He has considerable experience with all of NuEnergen’s product lines as a result of his previous roles as a General Manager and Supervisor of the internal data team. He additionally has many years of experience directly supporting NuEnergen’s clients, ranging from individual locations to national contracts across all business sectors. As a result of his varied responsibilities over the years, Brett has direct experience supporting the overwhelming majority of our company’s clients in one capacity or another. Prior to his work at NuEnergen, Brett spent time with the military, and also as a federal disaster response team leader. Brett holds a B.A. in Politics, with minors in Business and Economics from Brandeis University.

Gerald Allen
General Manager, Sourcing & Auditing
Gerald brings more than two decades of experience across energy markets, commodities, and financial services to his role as General Manager of NuEnergen’s Sourcing and Auditing business unit. Gerald leads one of the company’s most data‑intensive and client‑critical divisions. His leadership centers on delivering precision, transparency, and measurable value to organizations navigating the complexities of energy procurement and cost management. At NuEnergen, Gerald holds full P&L responsibility for the Sourcing and Auditing unit, guiding its strategic direction while ensuring operational excellence across all deliverables. Under his direction, the team produces monthly sourcing recommendations, budget forecasts, utility bill audits, and energy dashboard services that support thousands of client accounts nationwide. Gerald is deeply engaged in client strategy, frequently leading complex conversations around procurement approaches in PJM, NYISO, ISO‑NE, ERCOT, and SPP. Gerald holds a degree from the University of Pittsburgh and continues to blend analytical discipline with strategic leadership to strengthen NuEnergen’s position as a trusted energy management partner.Â

Tara Curasi
Vice President
Tara is an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional with 12+ years of experience in regulatory compliance and implementing effective EHS programs. She is a skilled communicator, fast learner, and expert in New York State and federal environmental air regulations, permitting, and environmental management. Tara excels at fostering collaboration, analyzing large data sets, and interpreting analytical results.

Most recently, Tara managed air emission compliance and greenhouse gas (GHG) reporting for large commercial and industrial facilities, developing strategies to reduce emissions and leading industrial hygiene initiatives to protect employee health. She has extensive experience with Title V Air Permits, USEPA reporting, NYSDEC programs, SPDES permits, SPCC plans, and ISO 14001 & 45001 compliance.
Tara has also led water management programs, exposure risk assessments, and maintenance planning for building water systems and petroleum storage tanks. She developed internal protocols for legionella risk management, standardized reporting systems, and optimized field inspection processes.

In operational management, Tara administers environmental databases, supports project teams in internal controls, and ensures vendor compliance. As Vice President, she will oversee three compliance divisions (Air, Petroleum, Buildings), drive efficiency and innovation, provide senior project management and QA oversight, and assist the President in strategic growth, financial management, and new business development across NuEnergen and EES.

Anthony Nole
COO
Anthony R. Nole is Executive Vice President and General Manager of Demand Response for NuEnergen. In his 23 years of experience across the energy industry, Anthony has held leadership positions across a wide range of disciplines. Most recently, Anthony led the Optimization and Insights business for Centrica / Direct Energy where he was responsible for helping Commercial and Industrial customers maximize the value of demand flexibility via demand response and optimizing the value of their distributed energy resources. Anthony’s also held leadership positions at Direct Energy that included responsibilities for energy insights, customer success, project delivery, and commercial analytics. Before that, Anthony led the division responsible for commercial services and pricing strategies for retail and convenience store chain Speedway (Marathon Petroleum Corp.) and led an operating division for Hess Retail Marketing. Other experiences with Hess Corp and at ExxonMobil included leading organizational change, launching new profit-driven initiatives, refinery supply optimization, and managing generator tolling deals. Anthony holds an M.S. in Chemical Engineering Practice and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School..

Herrick O'Connor
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Herrick serves NuEnergen’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, leading our talented team of Client Services Managers with respect to new business development. With over a decade of B2B and enterprise sales experience across the software and energy industries, Herrick has successfully launched multiple products and services to market while scaling sales organizations and developing sales and marketing strategies. Having worked with many of North America’s largest and most sophisticated users of energy, Herrick is passionate about delivering NuEnergen’s customers with unparalleled opportunities for revenue and cost savings through NuEnergen’s suite of services. Herrick’s experience and extensive knowledge of North American power markets has led to NuEnergen’s expansion into new markets and programs with respect to demand response, unlocking new avenues of revenue for NuEnergen’s clients and prospects. Herrick holds a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Management from Northeastern’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business.

Brendan Donnelly
Executive Vice President & GM
Brendan is the Director of Demand Response Market Development for NuEnergen. In his 15+ years of experience across the energy industry, Brendan has held positions across a wide range of disciplines. Most recently, Brendan was the Director of Optimization Systems and Platforms for Centrica / Direct Energy where he was responsible for software development supporting Centrica / Direct Energy’s customer facing and operational systems. Brendan has also held leadership positions at Centrica / Direct Energy / Hess Corporation that included responsibilities for Product Management, Business Development, Strategy, and Project Management.
Brendan is a licensed professional engineer and holds an MBA from The University of North Carolina – Kenan Flagler Business School.

Julie Hartman
Supervisory Engineer
Julie has a background in chemical and environmental engineering and has worked in client-facing and data-driven engineering roles. She joined EES in January 2025 and has worked on projects involving air quality permitting on federal, state, county, and city levels. She has extensive experience with Title V, State, and Minor Source facility permitting with the NYSDEC. Julie has also worked on several air permitting projects for individual equipment with the NYCDEP including onsite testing as well as qualitative and quantitative analyses for new equipment installations. She works on projects involving all combustible equipment such as boilers, generators, and chillers. Julie also has experience working on stormwater discharge projects including quarterly reporting to the NYSDEC.

An operations professional with twelve years experience, and five in the energy industry, after serving in the US Army, Wolf went on to get his Bachelor’s in Economics as well as an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird. His role at NuEnergen is vital to our operations as he leads enrollment, dispatch, performance reporting and settlement processes for all ISO and utility DR programs.

Divya Sangami Vinayagam
Senior Environmental Engineer/ Project Manager
Divya specializes in permitting and regulatory compliance for infrastructure and building system projects across New York City, working closely with agencies including DOB, DEP, FDNY, and NYSDEC. She coordinates approvals for mechanical systems such as boilers, chillers, generators, fuel storage tanks, and fire protection systems.

She supports compliance with key NYC energy-related local laws, including LL84, LL33, LL88, and LL97, as well as NYC Part 494 refrigerant management programs. Divya also partners with clients to address regulatory violations, prioritize compliance actions, and mitigate penalties.

Divya has managed construction projects exceeding $50 million and has supported facility-wide violation resolution efforts involving penalties of up to $2 million. She began her career with the firm as a Business Analyst and later a Product Manager, where she analyzed client data and helped enhance proprietary software aligned with evolving regulations—bringing a strong analytical and systems-driven approach to her consulting work.

Kanchan Yashavant is an Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Affairs professional with over 15 years of international experience across the United States, United Arab Emirates, and India. She specializes in environmental risk assessment, regulatory compliance, environmental due diligence, brownfield redevelopment, and sustainable remediation solutions.
Kanchan holds two Master of Science degrees in Environmental Science and Physics as well as an MBA and EMS 14001 Lead Auditor from SGS , bringing a unique combination of scientific expertise, technical rigor, and business acumen to complex environmental and infrastructure projects. She has advised major institutions, developers, and engineering teams on environmental compliance, hazardous materials management, petroleum storage regulations, and capital improvement initiatives, helping clients navigate complex regulatory requirements and mitigate environmental risks.
