    Kevin Hamilton

    President & CEO

    Kevin is a founder of NuEnergen. Kevin has over 25 years experience in the energy conservation and supply businesses, during which he has held business development and sales leadership roles. Starting in the energy performance contracting business with Honeywell Corporation, Kevin developed energy asset management programs with institutional clients throughout New England. Following Honeywell, Kevin became the Northeast and later North American Vice President of Sales, Institutional Markets, for the deregulated arm of Duke Energy, Duke Solutions. In this capacity, Kevin led a team of individuals who developed integrated energy asset management solutions for the marketplace. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University, Potsdam, NY, and a MBA in International Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Babson College, Wellesley, MA.

    A. V. “Sandy” Hamilton

    COO & CFO

    Sandy is a founder of NuEnergen. Prior to NuEnergen, he was the Executive Vice President at NewsGator Technologies, an RSS platform company where he was responsible for all Sales, Marketing & Business Development activities. He also held the role of Executive Vice President and General Manager at EYT (formerly Ernst & Young Technologies) where he had responsibilities for one of Microsoft’s largest Business Solutions resellers from 2001 through 2003. He founded Axiom Equity Partners based in Denver, CO, which is a Private Equity firm focused on leveraged buyouts in the mid-market industrial space. Sandy was also the SVP of Worldwide Sales & Marketing role at Qwest Cyber Solutions (a joint venture between Qwest Communications and KPMG Consulting), which offered ERP & CRM applications on an ASP platform. Sandy has a bachelor of science in Industrial Engineering from Clarkson College of Technology and an MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels School of Business, Denver, CO.

    Ryan Korczykowski

    Chief Technology Officer

    Ryan has been working on the technical and operational aspects of the deregulated energy industry for nearly six years. For three of those years, he oversaw the technical operations of a large Energy Supply Company in the northeast while providing consulting services to numerous other ESCOs. He possesses intimate knowledge of the customer life cycle and back-office functions in the energy domain from both a system and business perspective. He gained this experience by designing a gamut of software modules, ranging from ISO scheduling and settlement, EDI processing, and billing, to sales force automation, price modeling and tax compliance. Ryan was instrumental in the development of theNuEnergen EnerTrac Dashboard. EnerTrac is a web based analytics platform capable of providing usage, cost and performance reporting for large, geographically diverse organizations. Additionally, Ryan leads many of NuEnergen’s analytical efforts, including tariff modeling, bill auditing and performance benchmarking. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with highest honors from Rochester Institute of Technology.

    Lee Friend

    VP, Sales & Marketing

    Lee has over 24 years of experience in the energy industry.  Upon graduation from SUNY Binghamton in 1991, he began his energy career at New York State Electric and Gas Corporation (NYSEG) in the internal audit department. During his nine year tenure at NYSEG, Lee gained a solid foundation of energy procurement and auditing knowledge from the utility perspective.  In 2000, he returned to Binghamton University (one of the four University Centers in New York State) as Director of Physical Facilities Business Management.  He managed all physical facilities operational capital and utility accounts.  He also served as a board member on the SUNY Energy Procurement Group Steering Committee. Lee currently serves as General Manager of Sourcing and Auditing at NuEnergen.  His innovative perspective to the industry resulted in the development of NuEnergen’s OK2Pay services.  OK2Pay is a proactive utility bill audit service, which helps clients to be sure that ALL utility bills are really “OK2Pay” before payment is made to the energy provider. Lee received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Binghamton and is a Certified Energy Procurement (CEP) specialist with The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).

    Anton Nicaj

    Director of Field Operations

    Anton has spent the last ten years focusing on energy efficiency and demand response for large-scale facilities in the United States. His experience within Commercial and Industrial facilities exceeds 250 million square feet of space and he is focused on extracting value for our clients in multiple facets of energy-related operations. Previously, he worked at large energy services and demand response providers, taking on Business Development, Operations and Account Management roles. Anton had spent a decade in asset management and equities markets prior to entering the energy markets. He is currently our Director of Field Operations and is involved in day-to-day operations of our Demand Response solutions. He is involved in various initiatives running the gamut of Engineering, Account Management, Smart Grid technologies and other critical components to our business. Anton has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Baruch College.

    Brett Wu

    Sr. Client Services Manager

    Brett has worked in personnel and operations management for more than five years. During his college tenure, Brett attended Officer Candidate School and received training with the United States Marine Corps and began his professional career in the AmeriCorps National Service program. In his two-plus years of service, Brett was the Team Leader for a disaster response operations unit, and deployed across the US and its overseas territories with the military, FEMA and American Red Cross in response to hurricane, tsunami and fire emergencies. Specializing in initial response activities, Brett oversaw supply and distribution of food and shelter during the tsunami disaster in American Samoa in 2009, and also performed work in the Gulf region in response to hurricane activity. In addition to extensive management training and field time, Brett was awarded Congressional and Presidential citations for his service. Brett currently serves as a Sr. Client Services Manager for NuEnergen, and handles much of the company’s client portfolio in New York City, New Jersey and greater Hudson Valley area. Brett also works closely with respect to daily operations in the office, and previously managed the in-house Data Support Specialist team. Brett received his Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University in 2008 in Politics, with a concentration in International Relations, along with minors in Business and Economics.
